We have experience of creative projects, from local to nationwide in scale, that have achieved a great deal in building communities. Now we want to use that experience for the long-term benefit of Derby.

Living Derby projects will generate new opportunities for the creative industries which are vital to the city’s economy, and at the same time we are playing an active role in the development and culture of our city.

Creativity is a vital force in life and work, from taking photographs to drawing maps of your street or writing poetry about the effects of change happening. We know that people need training in business and IT skills – and they also need to meet their neighbours and colleagues, work together, develop personal and communications skills, and build a better city. That’s what Living Derby will help us do: and we are proud of it.
